Ice Cream Sandwich Leaked to Samsung Galaxy S II

With the release of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android) for the Samsung Nexus, we quickly see the hackers and modders begin to start porting the OS. In the family of the Samsung Nexus, we have a close sibling, the Galaxy S II… and now we see the ports. Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has been leaked to the Samsung Galaxy S II class set of phones, but it is far from perfect. Take a look.

It looks almost exactly the same, why? Because this is most likely only a partial port. Even with the popular ports for the latest phones (example: Skyrocket being two months old), it’s tough to get the ROM mods perfectly functioning with the hardware. I am still sitting on a stock ROM for my Skyrocket due to the fact that most releases still have major bugs. But, the one I am keeping my eye out on is the Cyanogen Mod as it’s getting very close to becoming a great Gingerbread mod! Check out the website for your Android device Cyanogen mods.
