Very Cool Parallax CSS from Nike

I’ve been on a kick recently, taking a look at new CSS3 and techniques that are quick to grow in our marketing and advertising worlds. One of these new techniques is something that is called parallax. Parallax means to displace apparent position, often used to describe how people can view distance and perspective. But very commonly used for CSS scrolling animation, although the definition may not be perfect.

More and more companies are implementing neat little scrolling and 3D effects like this. Take a look at the two examples below.

Here’s a very cool example of the same Parallax technique being used to create a 3D line of sight effect, moving the mouse will change the line of sight.
