Surf your news with NewsMap!

There is a cool Flash based way to surf your news every morning. You basically have a newsmap, color coded by content type, which sizes the text of the news to how important it might be. Check it out here:

It’s not perfect, but it did get very popular in about 2004. They moved to a version 2.0 in 2009 and have had widespread publicity.
