Well, my designers are going to hate it when they see this. http://99designs.com/ is a crowd sourcing design studio, that allows people to post projects and designers to post bids with their designs to win that project, along with the pay. Basically if you need a logo or website design, 99designs.com allows designers to create mock-ups for you. You can then choose which is the best and which to pay. If none work, you are get your money back. Pretty amazing. I’m trying it out for the first time. We’ll see how it works out.
This company came out in 2007 and just this past April, they raised $35M in Series A funding. Keep an eye on these guys:
