Telecommuting is more popular then ever. And, working from home can have many advantages. Save’s costs for office space, electricity, add’s comfort, and many others. But that’s not what we are here to talk about. No matter what the connection, today, working from home relies solely on being connected to the internet. And when any downtime at all is, well unacceptable, it’s absolutely important to have a redundant internet connection.
For many years, I would keep both a high speed cable connection, with a lower speed DSL combination. Today is a bit different though. With 3G/4G connections already implemented in phones, having a backup via tether is becoming more and more popular. My main connection is out tonight, but I’m still here. 🙂
