Over the past 10 days, Instagram has added 10 million users to an already existing 30 million user base. That is impressive. How did they grow 30% in 10 days? It could have a little something to do with Facebook spending a hefty $1B to buy the company who only has about a dozen employees. It also seems to be strategically done right after the release of Instragram for Android. So do you think that the $1B purchase warrants the hefty increase in user base? I’m not so sure about that, but to see the growth, it’s pretty amazing.
Take that in consideration, last week my Facebook is nothing but Instagram notifications now, yikes it’s kind of annoying.
