Coming to a City Near You, Audio Surveillance

Especially for you, our government has found the break even ratio between the cost to benefits in bugging all of the public buses near you. I’m the last person to say that this is a good idea, but I am not here to argue morality, privacy, or anything of that nature.

What I find interesting about this story is that technology is getting so inexpensive that bugging buses and other public places is not all that expensive. And with the importance of how afraid everyone has been the past ten years for obvious reasons, it seems that people want to bug more and more. Camera’s, Audio, and even GPS tracking… technology is getting cheaper, and it is getting easier to get access to these mechanisms that track, record, and predict.

It’s getting closer and closer, have a watch.
