ATF Testing 3D Printed Firearms

I wasn’t aware of this, but the ATF releases a lot of YouTube videos on very interesting subjects out there. One of the recent ones was their testing of 3D printed firearms, how they work, and a dash of throwing doubt into their effectiveness by demonstrating how they can explode upon firing.

I’m sure you all have been aware of the 3D printing phenomena. With all of these 3D printers out there, it’s like we will have portable replicators all over the world soon. It’s pretty exciting. But, what can get a bit worrisome, is that people can also create firearms with these 3D printers. What’s even more worrisome, is that they can create firearms using just plastic.

Well, the ATF is out to demonstrate that everything is not exactly there right now. Take a look at a couple of these videos and I’ll let you be the judge.
